With 10+ years of experience, photography is and will always be a hobby of mine. It’s a nice way to get away from the everyday bullshit, get lost in capturing and editing images. I prefer to photograph nature and its effortless beauty. Flowers are my weakness. I also dabble in portraits a little and product photography too.
My hunger for knowledge lead me to becoming a self taught designer. I have real world experience in graphic, web, and print design. I learn every day. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll say “hmm, I don’t know how to do that, but I’m going to learn how.” I obsess over design. I love every aspect of it, packaging, cars, furniture, forms, and everything else. I see things and begin analyzing its design, how things are placed, why things are where they are, etcetera.
It’s something that was essentially engrained into me from birth. I just recently discovered that it had a name. I absolutely hate clutter. I apply a minimalist perspective to everything I do, figuring out what the most important stuff is and getting rid of the rest.
I will never stop learning, I constantly explore new ideas, via podcasts, articles, and videos. Im curious about everything, I want to know how everything works. I like asking very specific questions, it's the most efficient way to get deep into a subject.
Im very particular with color, I wear navy blue, accessories and tech are black, I like white interiors. Color is extremely important, not only in design and photography but life in general. I don’t abide by “all black everything”, being surrounded by black is depressing. Teal, scarlet red, and orange are three colors that I enjoy. My favorite color is blue, like all colors though there is a time and place for it.
